WNGAG and local residents had the opportunity to give evidence in person and say why they opposed the developers’ plans to build at Barn Hall during the public inquiry conducted by the Planning Inspectorate at the end of June in the Council’s offices in the Basildon Centre. While we wait for the High Court to hear Basildon Council’s appeal against the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Hazel Blear’s, decision to ignore the Planning Inspector’s recommendation (in favour of not building) and allow building to start at Barn Hall, you can still:
  • (Until April 2009) sign our on-line Petition, if you have not done so already and want to show you care about protecting our countryside, wish to avoid the over-development of North Wickford, and oppose building on Barn Hall.
